To make a reservation we require a deposit of at least 30% of the total amount, payable within 48 hours after payment instructions have been sent. The remaining 70% must be received at least 6 weeks before arrival to confirm the reservation. If payment is not received within the specified period, the reservation will be canceled as set out below. If you are unable to make a payment within the given period, please contact us at hello@kalonsurf.com and we will do our best to accommodate.
We accept the following payment methods:
Reservations, payments, and related booking matters are handled by the relevant Kalon Holding Ltd group entity with which you book, including Kalon Finance Hong Kong Limited and, where applicable, approved partners such as Kaiser & Company IP Limited HK ("Kalon Travel"). On-site accommodation and hospitality services at Kalon Surf Costa Rica are provided by our local operating company, Kalon Surf SARL. Any additional purchases made locally during your stay may be subject to applicable local taxes.
A booking is considered canceled even if you wish to make a new reservation for different dates or reduce the number of guests per room. All payments are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your vacation or change your travel dates, we do not issue refunds but may apply a credit under the following condition:
It is important that you hold adequate travel insurance to cover any amounts paid to Kalon Holding Ltd group companies — including Kalon Surf SARL and Kalon Finance Hong Kong Ltd — or to approved vendors such as Kaiser & Company IP Limited HK ("Kalon Travel"). We strongly recommend Global Rescue and their Cancel for Any Reason Insurance (IMG Plus).
The most common reasons for last-minute cancellations are personal injury or a death in the family. Please confirm with your insurer that you are covered for these circumstances. Global Rescue's Cancel for Any Reason policy covers both.
If your stay at Kalon Surf must be canceled by us due to reasons beyond our control — such as a natural disaster — Kalon Surf, its group companies, and approved vendors are not liable for any refunds or travel costs. Please ensure your travel insurance also covers operator cancellations; most standard policies include this, as does Global Rescue.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
To protect your privacy and security, Kalon Holding Ltd, Kalon Surf SARL, Kalon Finance Hong Kong Ltd, and Kaiser & CO IP Limited do not collect or store any of your credit card details. All card payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
