At Kalon Surf we want you to learn or improve your surfing while you are with us, but also to continue improving after your stay with us. We have developed methods that not only help you to learn or improve quickly, but also help you to understand why you want to be doing it in this or that way.

Personalized Coaching Our surf coaches always have plenty of time to give you individual attention, because we keep the groups small (maximum of 10 guests, maximum of 3:1 guest to surf instructor ratio). We are able to focus on those skills you need to improve upon, using a surfboard that matches your skills and ambition, and taking you to beaches that help you develop further.

Daily Video Analysis to progress during your surf session, the surf coach will video you and the other guests. Then, before dinner and while enjoying a smoothie you and the coach will review what is going well, what is going wrong; why you did catch one wave and not another. This you build confidence (I got that wave!!) and know where to focus on the next day.

Surf Theory Wind, swell, waves, currents, tide, boards, fins - we make sure you feel comfortable with the basics. You will understand what you need to look for when you start a surf session and how to stay safe here or in any other location in the world.

The Best Equipment We partnered up with Santa Cruz Surfboards to use their quality equipment to help you advance quicker, whether you are beginner, intermediate or advanced.

Investment for Life At the end of the trip, we make sure you know what your level is, how you can develop yourself further and which type of beaches and board you should seek out back home (or next trip). And you can always get in touch with us for some quick advice.

Luxury Comfort home away from home

We want you to surf, a lot! So we have made you sure you do not have to think about anything else other than surfing and relaxing. We pick you up from the airport and make it a comfortable and enjoyable ride.

Your Welcome Package Upon arrival, you will find a Kalon Rashguard (trust us, they are very cool!) which is yours to keep, but also sunblock & lipbalm from Watermans and basically everything that you need to stay healthy and protected.

Private Ensuite Rooms You will stay in a beautiful luxury mansion with award winning 180 degree panoramic ocean views, a nice breeze and surrounded by the jungle. The spacious rooms have ensuite bathrooms, real king beds and like the rest of the mansion: beautiful interior, lots of space and privacy.

The Ambiance: Home Away From Home  The Mansion is luxurious, beautiful and most importantly: it has a great and warm open ambiance to it. It also has a huge infinity pool for you to enjoy after or before surf classes (it is even part of the surf coaching). You find all kinds of little hideaways around the house, and a cozy movie room in the house, a beautiful teak made bar setting downstairs or just enjoy the panoramic views during a beautiful sunset . Beers, wines, juices, smoothies, brownies, cakes or tropical fruits are yours to take when you feel like it in the beatuiful open kitchen!

Delicous Fresh Food: Our Own Private Chef  You will enjoy one a delicous breakfast with homemade bread, waffles, fresh tropical juices, exotic fruits and everything you need for good surf session. Lunch will be at one of the paradise like beaches or at the beautiful mansion while you watch the waves roll in. In the evening our chef will prepare a 3 course dinner with fresh and local ingredients, mixing local and international cuisine (think fresh "Ceviche", Tuna, Shrimp, Red Snapper, Grilled Beef, BBQ Chickenl, followed by delicious deserts)!

Pilates & Massage A week long surfing is a lot of fun but also challenging for the body. Throughout the week you have the chance to join Silene in her Pilates classes which will help your body to recuperate even faster. As we have tailored the classes to surfing it will even help you to improve your surf skills! The included massage on Wednesday (the day off) will be the perfect addition to enjoy the week the most you can.Optional tours (canopy, fishing, horse riding, waterfalls) are all possible!

Surf Photos to Remember Show off those surf photos of you when you get back! At the end of your week we’ll have a greatl photo slideshow before dinner to end the week on an even higher note and we will make sure you have your great surf photos at home to share with your family.
